1/24/2010- Voorheesville, NY- SignACTION Productions has commited sponsorship to Rainmaker Productions’ 1st Annual Lou Lazzaro Memorial Race at the Fonda Speedway. Taking place on Saturday, May 15th, 2010, 11 years to the date of “The Monk’s” final Big Block Modified Feature victory at Fonda Speedway, the famed Modified division will run 44 laps for $4,444.44.

“I’m incredibly honored and greatful to be apart of the first annual race,”SignACTION Owner Mike Jackson said on Saturday, “Lou is a huge part of Fonda Speedway history, and even Shaffer Racing history.”

Lazzaro piloted the now SignACTION Sponsored 1H in the McDondald’s 200 early in Shaffer Racing’s Modified efforts at Fonda Speedway. Jackson’s SignACTION Productions joins a cast of sponsors and race supporters that belive a tribute to the Fonda legend is, “…way over due,” according to Jackson.

“Matt’s (Noles: Rainmaker Productions) excitement and passion for the sport is contagious, we worked with him in 2008 with Dave Lape’s Throwback car. I always bet on a winner, and Matt is just that.”

Team SignACTION was out in full force for the upcoming race season’s car shows, with representation at the Philadelphia Area Auto Show, Gater Motorsports Expo, Fonda Speedway Show in Rotterdam, NY, and the Middletown Motorsports show. Team driver “Skip” LaPolt logged the most miles, making appearances at three of the four mentioned shows, even earning Best of Show for his division (IMCA) at the Middletown Motorsports Show!
